Young at Heart 45+ - September Road Trip

Join us for a fun-filled road trip to Lancaster, PA.  We have a trip full of fun plans to experience together and make great memories.  To reserve your spot, you will need to register at the link provided here.  Registration fee is $125 and covers our Lunch at Samuel & Ruth Lapps Amish Home, the Hershey Chocolate World Tour, and Sight & Sound, Daniel Show.  The Itinerary is posted below and suggested accomodations are also provided.  Overnight stay accomodations are not included in the registration fee and you will need to book those on your own.

Registration/Signup Fee $125.00 covers your Sight & Sound ticket and your lunch at Samuel & Ruth’s Amish Home.

TRAVEL ITINERARY:

Sept. 15th, travel to Lancaster, PA 8.5 hr. travel time, gas estimate roundtrip $140.00

Sept. 16th, Breakfast on your own – don’t eat a heavy breakfast.

After breakfast let’s head over to Paradise (30 min. drive) and do some exploring and see the beautiful countryside and Amish farms. Or find things to do on your way to Paradise.

12:00 PM Lunch at Samuel & Ruth Lapps Amish Home – 5341 White Oak Road, Paradise PA 17562, 610-593-6988 – Cost is $25 plus 6% tax = $26.50 per person, gratuity optional.  We will spend 1.5 – 2 hours at Samuel & Ruth’s home. Ruth also has a gift shop so make plans on doing some shopping. Prepay at sign up.

3:30PM Hershey Chocolate World, 101 Chocolate World Way, Hershey, PA 17033 – FREE Admission. (This is a one-hour drive from Paradise)

· Hershey Chocolate Tour is 30 mins and is FREE

· Create your own candy bar. 45 mins long, cost $29.95

· Create your own 1-pound Reese’s peanut butter cup with your own mix ins, pretzels, marshmallows, cookies, etc. 30 min. $19.95

· Hershey Trolly tour 45-75 mins long, $24.95  All Aboard, watch as the inspiring story of Milton Hershey’s Chocolate unfolds, between the historic landmarks outside your window and the charismatic conductors sharing incredible but true stories!
