Update From Dr. Rick Cope (9/30/24)

"Yesterday in NC we were able to go into the most Devastated of areas Swannaoa River Valley and survey the Damage and it is beyond belief.

All I can say is no news coverage and any pictures cannot do this Justice. Houses completely gone.  A Trailer park wiped off the earth. The most heartbreaking thing was we started serving in the community taking water in and people crying as we handed out cases of Water or they would see us and many ran to the truck.

I have served in 3rd world countries and seen poverty but this the first time I could see real panic in peoples eyes

It’s starting to set in how are they going to make it if something doesn't happen fast.

Thank you from the bottom of our Hearts to everyone who has volunteered or donated you have no idea how much hope you are bringing to NC

It’s Day 3 Hold On Help is on the way..
